Four Philly-area cardiovascular ASCs featured in Inquirer article covering procedural migration

A recent Philadelphia Inquirer article takes a close look at the emergence of cardiovascular ASCs in its region. The title: “New Philadelphia-area cardiovascular surgery centers are pulling profitable procedures from hospitals and charging less.”

The article notes that Pennsylvania is the first Northeastern U.S. state to allow the practice, and that four cardiovascular ASCs have opened or are in the final stages of approvals in the Philadelphia region:

Numerous providers and stakeholders associated with the facilities are quoted in the article, as is the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association.
