An Axios-Ipsos poll published August 31 finds that COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy may be waning.
Among the findings:
- 20% are not likely at all or not very likely to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, down from 23% 2 weeks ago and 34% in March
- 68% with K-12 children have either already vaccinated their children or are likely to do so when it is approved for their age group, up from 56% 2 weeks ago
- 19% indicate their employers are mandating vaccinations, up from 16% 2 weeks ago
- 33% say Food and Drug Administration full approval will make them likely to take the vaccine, and 43% say their boss requiring vaccinations will make them likely to do so, up from 33% a month ago.
The poll was conducted August 27-30 among 1,071 US respondents.
