Atrium Health announced that it has completed an expansion and reopening of Atrium Health Denver (N.C.) Surgery Center—which it says is the only ASC in Lincoln County, N.C.
The expansion of the multispecialty ASC added a dedicated endoscopy suite, three new preoperative rooms and additional clinical space.
“This milestone reflects years of planning to meet the future healthcare needs of this community,” said Kris Shepard, senior vice president of ambulatory surgery center strategy and operations at Atrium Health. “This expansion allows us to increase capacity today while positioning the center for continued growth and additional specialty services in the future.”
Atrium Health Denver Surgery Center hosts service lines including gynecology, general surgery, pediatric dentistry, orthopedics, pain management and, now, endoscopy.
The center also earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, reported Atrium.
