It’s not often that you see an article in the mainstream media that’s exclusively about pre-anesthesia care, but that’s exactly what Montana’s Bozeman Daily Chronicle published last week.
Amy Mouat-Hunter, MD, medical director of Bozeman Health Pre-Anesthesia Clinic, penned the article, entitled “On the cutting edge: Bozeman Health’s Pre-Anesthesia Clinic is improving surgical care.”
“At Bozeman Health, the Pre-Anesthesia Clinic serves as a critical bridge between a patient’s decision to undergo surgery and their arrival on the day of their procedure,” writes Dr. Mouat-Hunter. “Our goal is to identify and address potential risks before surgery rather than reacting to them on the day of surgery.
