Adena Health has completed its acquisition of Fairfield Medical Center (FMC) in Lancaster, Ohio. The facility will now be known as Adena Fairfield Medical Center.
The organizations state that they will “work together to support a smooth transition for patients and staff, with a focus on continuity of care and minimizing disruption.”
The acquisition came together quickly after the parties signed a letter of intent on June 1.
“Our responsibility has always been to ensure Fairfield Medical Center is positioned to serve our communities well into the future,” stated FMC President and CEO John R. “Jack” Janoso Jr. “I believe joining Adena Health provides that strong path forward, and I am confident in all that is ahead.”
