CPIhealth (CPI), an interventional pain management platform, has acquired Midwest Interventional Spine Specialists (M.I.S.S.) and Serenity Surgical Center. CPI says the move enables it to expand its provision of “advanced pain treatments and comprehensive care” to northwest Indiana and nearby Chicago suburbs in Illinois.
The partnership adds two clinics and M.I.S.S.’ Serenity Surgical ASC to CPI’s existing Indiana footprint, along with five physicians and two nurse practitioners.
CPI and M.I.S.S. will offer services including spinal cord stimulation, intradiscal procedures, percutaneous disc decompression, injections and non-surgical spine care.
CPI also has clinics and ASCs in Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, Colorado and Minnesota.
