A Chester Township, Ohio, woman has been indicted on felony charges by the Geauga County Prosecutor’s Office for allegedly stealing fentanyl and other drugs from the unidentified ASC where she worked.
“Chandra L. Wozniak, 53, is charged with one count of possession of a fentanyl-related compound, a fourth-degree felony; one count of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and one count of receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony, according to the indictment,” reports Cleveland.com. An internet search, while unconfirmed, turned up sites that identify Ms. Wozniak as an anesthesiology assistant.
Ms. Wozniak’s car struck a tree on June 4. Responding police found “drugs typically found only in clinical settings” inside the vehicle.
Cleveland.com reports that, according to the indictment, Ms. Wozniak is accused of “possessing between 1 and 5 grams of a fentanyl-related compound, possessing a Schedule I or II controlled substance and receiving stolen property identified as a dangerous drug.” An arrest warrant has been issued.
