Prisma Health recently broke ground on its $180 million Fountain Inn Medical Park project in southern Greenville County, S.C.
The focus of the 50-acre site will be a four-story 130,000-sq-ft medical office building that will offer a “wide array of advanced and expanded outpatient services in one convenient, patient-centered location for the rapidly growing region,” with more than a dozen medical specialties on site. Those will include several that are new to the area such as radiation and medical oncology, neurology, ENT, urology and colorectal, along with “expanded services” for cardiovascular, gastroenterology, general surgery, orthopedics and pulmonology.
The site will feature a 27,000-square-foot ASC with four ORs “specializing in orthopedic surgeries and other same-day procedures,” according to Prisma Health, along with four procedure rooms that will accommodate a “broad range of procedures, including GI and endoscopic procedures.”
The new “healthcare hub” is expected to welcome patients in December 2027. Recruitment of physicians and other providers is underway.
