ASC management company AMSURG has acquired Euclid Endoscopy Center. The gastrointestinal-focused, five-physicians practice operates three total procedure rooms among two ASCs, which are located in San Diego and El Cajon, Calif.
“This organization has established a vital role in providing accessible GI care to patients throughout San Diego County and beyond,” stated Adam Tripp, AMSURG’s senior vice president of corporate development. “Our teams have already collaborated on physician recruitment to support Euclid’s growth, and we look forward to building on that work to help its physicians reach more patients with the outstanding GI care they provide.”
In July, AMSURG acquired five endoscopy centers in North Carolina.
AMSURG now has a presence of 25 ASCs in California, and operates more than 250 ASCs nationwide.
