A new ASC has opened its doors in Northern Michigan, as Gaylord Surgery Center officially received accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and certification from CMS.
The ASC is the result of a $15 million investment by Michigan health system Munson Healthcare, in partnership with its physicians.
Among the service lines operating at the facility are ENT, general surgery, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, podiatry, and urology.
