Memorial Hospital Miramar debuts comprehensive new outpatient facility, including ASC

Memorial Hospital Miramar, part of South Florida-based Memorial Healthcare System, has opened a new four-story outpatient facility that “brings together a broad range of outpatient services under one roof, including advanced imaging capabilities, laboratory services, infusion care, women's imaging and outpatient surgery.”

Among the facility’s features:

• a 3T MRI and 256-slice CT scanner for advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities
• a dedicated outpatient laboratory with a pediatric room
• an outpatient benign infusion area with four private rooms
• a new Women’s Imaging Center and general ultrasound services
• the Memorial Outpatient Surgical Center

The facility’s first floor houses the CT, MRI, general ultrasound, women’s imaging, ASC, outpatient laboratory, and outpatient benign infusion area with four private rooms. The second floor houses the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Specialty Center and U18 Sports Rehab. The third floor is designated as the future home of the Memorial Cancer Institute, while the fourth floor is planned to become the PET Imaging Center.
