Todd Currier named ASCA’s new board president

The Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) announced that Todd Currier, CASC, CEO and administrator of Bend (Ore.) Surgery Center, has been elected as its new board president.

ASCA, which represents more than 6,500 Medicare-certified ASCs across the U.S., stated that Mr. Currier received unanimous support from the ASCA board and will lead for a two-year term.

Mr. Currier, a member of the ASCA board since 2023, served as its treasurer from 2024-2026. Among his many career accomplishments, he is an officer of the Oregon Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and was an original founder of the state ASC association of Wyoming.

“In the years ahead, we will remain focused on supporting our members in the areas that help them provide safe, high-quality care through advocacy and legislation, free education and benchmarking resources, collaboration with our state associations, and the flexibility to adapt to emerging challenges,” stated Mr. Currier.
