On Sunday, Oct. 4, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm ET, you’ll hear straight from the source about Joint Commission’s latest survey and accreditation requirements, policies and procedures. Robert Campbell, PharmD, BCSCP, Joint Commission’s Vice President of Accreditation/Certification Program Development and Accreditation Management, will give hospital, health system and ASC perioperative leaders a better sense and clearer picture of exactly what Joint Commission currently expects from them, and provide guidance on questions, concerns or ambiguities that require resolution. We’ll talk about where Joint Commission is headed based on the final rule from CMS and the revisions we have to make to our standards, and what that’s going to look like. We are also finding that organizations are boxing themselves in and creating expectations that are way above anything we’d ever want, so we’ll talk about that as well.”
