This week is a week to celebrate the people whose efforts make your ORs hum every day by bolstering efficiency and patient safety: your surgical techs.
It’s the third full week of September and, as has been the case since 1984, that means it’s National Surgical Technologists Week, celebrated this year from Sept. 20 to 26.
The Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) offers some posters and other printed materials to mark the occasion here.
As AST states, “Download, print them out, and place them in your hospitals, schools and houses, wherever you want! Help spread awareness for the profession.”
