Indiana healthcare system Henry Community Health (HCH) has broken ground on a new ASC in Knightstown.
The site is on a campus HCH purchased in 2020 and has since undergone a phased development plan. The first phase, a 26,000-square-foot facility offering primary care, orthopedics and urology services, opened in September 2025. The new 18,300-square-foot ASC will be phase two.
The ASC will contain three ORs, one procedure room, eight pre/post-operative patient rooms, and four post-anesthesia rooms. It will offer orthopedic, podiatric and pain management procedures, with plans to add specialties like urology, endoscopy and gynecological procedures over time. The $17.5 million ASC is expected to open in early 2028 and employ “up to 40 people across all levels of medical professionals.”
HCH stated that it will share updates as construction moves forward.
