As content director for Periop Leader Network, my chief mission and my sincere vocation is to provide you, as a perioperative leader, a global platform to address, inform and engage your peers.
And doing so is much easier than you think.
We’re not an academic journal, and don’t pretend to be. We’re a community-focused platform where perioperative leaders can share ideas, insights, perspectives and solutions. We’re a virtual (and in the case of our annual event, Periop Leader Week, in-person) meeting place for surgical leaders to identify and discuss problems – and figure out how to solve them, together. Our tone is approachable, conversational, pragmatic, practical.
And no subject related to surgical leadership is off limits. It doesn’t matter if it’s clinical, financial, cultural or operational … if it’s part of your daily experience, it’s a worthwhile topic to explore.
Simply put, we’re here for you to connect, share and grow together as perioperative leaders. Our community’s mission is to elevate each other, lift each other up, and provide the peer support you need as you lead your teams into an ever-uncertain future.
So if you’d like to write an article, post a video, sit for a Q&A… I encourage you to let me know. Periop Leader Network – the platform and the community – is interested in what you have to say. As content director for this community, I am open to your ideas, every day.
And don’t hesitate if you aren’t comfortable with writing. As a professional writer and editor, I would be honored to help you organize and express your thoughts for maximum impact. That’s my job, and I love it.
